I was born in 1962 in Pirmasens, Rhineland-Palatina, and live with my wife in a district of Calw in Baden Württemberg.
My professional career has been shaped by the automotive industry (Daimler AG), where I worked for almost 30 years.
After my vocational training, I studied mechanical engineering at the Fachhochschule in Kaiserslautern, specializing in production engineering.
In 1987, I started working as an engineer in axle assembly and after further trainings in 1995 I became the team leader in functional function abroad, USA MBUSI.
I was then able to gain further experience as a leader in production and planning in the areas of body shell and surface treatment.
Other professional positions as Senior Manager:
2003 Assembly production – budget and personnel responsibility for approx. 1100 employees
2008 Area Supply Chain Management Assembly – budget and personnel responsibility for approx. 600 employees
2013 Supply Chain Management Division Bodyshop and press shop – budget and personnel responsibility for approx. 500 employees
2016 Supply Chain Management Worldwide – Project Management Mercedes Benz Cars – Inbound, Intra- & Outbound Logistics
